I’ve been reading @veritaaas fic Hardwired recently and decided to try my hand out on animation again. As well as some other artsy test things I learned from a friend.

y e a h. I cry about the fact that he really hasn’t been a good person, but Lucy made him so much better and how she was taken away from him way too soon and it hurts.

I really like how much complexity I can bring into his character. Murphy changes throughout the show - and his attitude, while generally remaining the same, does undergo changes. He’s different with his daughter, different ( for the most part ) with Roberta and Serena. He can be an absolute asshole while still expressing emotional vulnerability around certain people. It makes him a lot of fun to write and explore.

I don’t think he’s redeemable either! And I don’t think he feels remorse whatsoever.

I think his only soft spot may be for Lucy. But could she bring him back? I don't know. I doubt it.
