just got back from seeing The Complete Works of Jane Austen, Abridged and oh my god my sides hurt from laughing

whoever came up with the idea of playing Single Ladies while introducing the Bennet sisters is a genius

the male actor's Alan Rickman impression had me literally crying from laughter (and yes they made a Harry Potter reference but it was done so well I couldn't be mad about it)

they briefly turned Northanger Abbey into a D&D session (complete with a dragon puppet) and Emma into a dating show

I got a double high five from one of the cast members for loudly agreeing that I also like Mansfield Park

they had the dramaturge interact with the cast via sound effects multiple times and I thought of @leonardcohenofficial every single time
