What’s daddy’s little omega been up to?
since when did veritas ratio learn how to use burner cells to text nonsense like this to his totally cool sexy and handsome stellaron hunter boyfriend
@veritvincit
hey. nuh uh. we talked about this.

how often does your muse self-reflect?
I would say very often, or at least definitely more than normal. he usually spends some time at the end / beginning of the week reflecting on his actions and thinking of ways that he could be better than the last week. after the events of penacony, this is increased tenfold and for a time he is consumed by self reflection, getting lost in his mind and being consumed by the weight of the truth of his upbringing, his actions, and really everything else. it happens in such an extreme while he's healing from his wing surgery that it ceases being helpful and is more of a detriment than anything. this lessens over time and returns to a healthy level once he's actually out and about and helping the express / "redeeming" himself, but he always takes some time out of his week to reflect
how good is your muse at setting boundaries?
sunday is extremely good at setting boundaries, to the point that he probably sets too many for most who think about getting close. this is partly due to his ( former ) job, where most boundaries were based on business and also partly due to his upbringing and his own comfort. that being said, his boundaries are actually not unbreakable giving some genuine interest and care from the other person, and enough time. should someone find a soft spot in his heart, they can step over many of the boundaries that separates him from the day to day strangers

❝ isn't the cinematography in these movies wonderful ? the over the shoulder angle allows you to have an intimate view of the actor's perspective and— ❞
a harsh whisper cuts him off, carmine eyes flicking to the person behind them. he glares at them for a moment, and swipes their memories of the movie, just to be spiteful. the director's gaze turns back to the screen with a huff, his experience tainted even though he was speaking a bit much and most likely ruining the actual horror elements by talking about how the scenes were shot. he couldn't help it, asking a director not to fawn over classic cinema was like asking a doctor not to heal the suffering. speaking of doctors, reca turns his attention to ratio, interested in his opinion. this time, he speaks in a more hushed tone.
❝ and what do you make of it, doctor ? i'm eager to hear your opinions on it. ❞
@veritvincit sent : [ teach ] sender, an expert at something, takes time to teach receiver how it works and how they can get better at it, too. for caelus !
he really hadn't meant it as a slight ! but when the scholarly veritas ratio critiqued the very notion of his kissing skills (never mind how they even got onto that topic - academia knows no bounds!) caelus hadn't been able to withhold his disbelief. what'd professor ratio the alabaster head know about kissing ?! sure, he was a very handsome guy - you'd have to be blind not to notice that - but when it came to a skill that took two..? caelus just couldn't believe the prickly doctor had the patience or people skills to have picked up any applicable technique!
"no way," he had said. "you can't criticize me! you don't even know how i do it!" continued his spirited 'counter argument', tone somewhere between incredulous and affronted. an accusatory finger point had come next, nearly jabbing ratio's dumb sculpted pecs. "i'd like to see you do any better!" glove drop, challenge (inadvertently) issued ; maybe egging a man who prided himself on perfection & his myriad of honed skills hadn't been the right choice.
or - if one were to look at consequent private lesson a different way, it had absolutely been the right choice. . !
at this point, mouth upon mouth and hands gliding over shoulders and arms, it was kind of a stubborn pride thing for the trailblazer. this was something he absolutely had to get full marks in! it'd just be embarrassing if he didn't. he was able to push aside whatever budding feelings that may have hindered his focus had he paid them any mind (ignore that he's kissing The veritas ratio, ignore that he's hot as hell), & caelus tackled this new challenge the way he did with every conundrum ratio threw his way : with a relentless need to do good. in half to show he had it in him to not only meet the doctor's expectations, but exceed them!, & ... frankly, to impress him. he'd keep that part to himself though.
breaking away for a gulp of air, caelus' brows knit together in concentration. he didn't wanna let on that this was his first time making out with somebody, but he was having a little difficulty trying to keep up with all of the nuances. your head went this way, the other persons head went that way! don't just press your lips together and then go limp, you gotta move with it!! where's his hands supposed to go? stop thinking so hard about it and just go with the flow!!! but what flow..?!
"where'd you even learn this....." came the indignant grumble under his breath. there was no way you could just learn this kinda thing from books, right? so who had ratio been kissing beforehand..? what sordid secrets did the (supposedly) stoic scholar hold? man -- the mystery of who, what, when, where was really stealing his last braincells. . !

"You're overreacting. Forfeiting the soul from the body to become part of the Memoria only becomes an issue if the physical form remains behind. A planet of lifeless, rotting corpses would certainly pose more than one environmental concern. But studies have shown ones consciousness will naturally live on for centuries with the absence of its host."
He would have long have given up his own flawed form in favor of joining with the memoria, unfortunately someone would need to oversee the infrastructure around Penacony durring this transition period. The Reverie Hotel would remain operational until every last living soul had been absorbed into that sweet dream. Or so that was the plan.
"In other words, eternal life. Not only that, but the garentee of a peaceful utopia forever thereafter. How is that not the ideal humanity should strive towards?"
