hi haru! really sorry if you've gotten this question a lot, but you've had a lot of different hair colours & it still looks really healthy so i just wanted to ask what products you use? i've got virgin black hair & wanna go silver eventually so any tips would be appreciated! hope you have a good day :)
Hey there! I’m so sorry that it always takes me 100 years to answer, most of the time I read the ask, answer it in my head and never write back. I know. I’m awful. ANYWAY. My hair was everything but healthy at some point, but maybe that’s because I bleached it over 7 times, colored it 100 times and then redyed it. But if you don’t rush to extremes it shouldn’t be too bad. Unfortunately your hair will always take damage but you can keep the damage at bay with using coconut oil while bleaching your hair. Just mix a little amount into the bleach and into your hair before putting it on. Your hair also shouldn’t be freshly washed. Try to not wash it for 3 or 4 days before bleaching so the natural fat barrier of your scalp can build up a little bit to protect it. I also wouldn’t use a too strong bleach even if you have black hair. That’s one of the most common mistakes. When you start with a too high percentage your hair will just get orange and not lighter. Therefor I would start slowly with a low percentage bleach and get them lighter with a gap of 2 weeks between every bleach session. I know that takes a little bit time but it will give your hair time to regenerate from the damage.
Verlaines - Doomsday
She said autumn will bore you And springtime will ignore you And cold wind will warm you at night And she asked me what kind of a creature was I That I harboured no rain in my eyes
And she said, "By the time That you open your eyes There will not be a shoulder in sight"
