Vergil is very confused as to why this woman is acting so familiar with him, but any excuse to fight demons and get out of the house his brother and sister in law had desecrated practically ever surface of is good enough for him.

Well, actually, the more he interacted with the beautiful demon huntress, the more intriguing he found by her. How someone so powerful could be so kind--it was a mystery! He hasn't felt this way since he was a young man and had a fateful encounter with Nero's mother.

last chapter ^ Man, I'm actually pleasantly surprised that a lot of people seemed to like this idea. I was almost certain everyone would hate it, but... yeah! I'm not really a multishipper, more so I have certain characters I don't really care one way or another. I think I said earlier, Vergil post DMC 5 is definitely one of those character because I think that LiR is dead. I mean, what are the real options for post DMC 5 if LiR is dead? Nina? Nico? Lucia? and OC?

Lucia or an OC are the strongest choices imo, and I'm not going to write an OC love interest for Vergil. Him being single is also fine.

But I think Lucia deserves to be pursued, it's only fair.
