Finally made it to Ben’s Mill in Barnet Vermont. Ben Thresher's mill is one of the only water-powered, wood-working mills left in the country. This mill has been running in North East Vermont since 1848. I didn’t get any great pics of the woodworking area so the video is just the smithshop. After that we headed to Peacham Vermont where there’s a historical Blacksmith shop right next to the town office. I took some photos through the windows. Looks like a giant 500lb Peter Wright anvil in there . Amazing place if there’s anyone in Peacham that sees this How the heck do I get a tour ??? Peacham was really cool it’s said to be the gateway to the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont . Pretty, and rural area. Anyone interested should check out one of my favorite podcasts @bravestatevt I believe the had an episode on Peacham . #vermont #peachamvt #blacksmithing #blacksmith #vermontblacksmith #anvil #bensmill #barnetvt (at Peacham, Vermont) https://www.instagram.com/p/BnOMH2-jKr2/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1wmn23nip89xt
