I found this rosary in an antique shop and bought it for my grandma, it’s commemorative of the new millennium with Pope John Paul II “The Polish Pope”. The last observant catholic in our family was my great great grandma, who we called Pink Grandma since she loved pink, and was also like the stereotypical old Polish lady lol. My grandma was very close with her grandma and I thought she would like it and it would remind her of Pink Grandma. It’s sad that it ended up in an antique shop but I’m glad I found a home for it.
I just thought you might like to see that and also hear a little about my grandmas. My Pink Grandma passed away when I was about 10 so there’s actually a picture of her, my great grandma, my grandma, my mom, and me all together, five generations of first born daughters. pretty cool!
