Kid, at your age, I've learned in class when Anne Frank's diary was tackled that Hitler is an awful person and being compared to him is not an honor. And back then, we didn't have the internet yet. You have more privilege than I do when it comes to learning about that now that you are growing up in the era of information being readily accessible both through technology and through traditional means. And yet, you choose to ignore the reality...that your father is no angel. There's a reason why he got compared to Hitler and it's about time you open your eyes to that. Be thankful that many people are trying to help your father be a better father to you and the nation. Other people your age do not get the same chance to see their fathers receive actual help because their fathers are killed by your father's cohorts even before they are given the chance to change - and yet, here we are, still giving your father many chances when we can simply kill him off at this very moment. Mark my words, Veronica. You are very privileged but that doesn't give you any right to be okay with the wrong things your father did to people around him. Sometimes, its okay to call out your parents when they've hurt others.
