this swaps columbina and lauma's roles in the story. the priestess and moonchanter of the frostmoon scions, she is an enigmatic and cryptic sort. she is aware of lauma's location, of her suffering, and yet she hasn't had the heart to inform her people directly. she is quickly losing her power, however, and worries that she won't get to tell her people the truth.
lightkeeper / fae .

columbina grows up among the lightkeepers after being found as an infant. however, she is a fae, unaware of her real name aside from the name the ratniki she grew up alongside refer to her as. (whether flins is aware of this is plotting-dependent.) she no longer works alongside them, but still has a lantern and fights off the wild hunt on her own. however, as her lantern dims, losing its light, she fears that she's running out of time.
kimetsu no yaiba .

from birth, she was seen as a goddess. never given a proper name, her parents saw her as a beacon of hope, a light that would quell the threat of demons. but she could not tell a single soul about her sensitivity to moonlight, how her eyes burned the second the moon rose and night began its routine tides.
demon: eventually, she is found by muzan, offered a home, but is abandoned as soon as she withstands his blood. she isolates herself in a forest where moonlight is shrouded by the trees, where her parents and shrine once resided. but she tore them apart, leaving isolation and blood where a family used to belong to.
demon slayer: instead of being found by muzan, she is found by kaguya ubuyashiki after a demon tears apart her home. she agrees to join, to cast darkness upon the light of the moon if it means demons are eradicated. however... she is unable to fight in a group due to her sensitivity to the moonlight. she doesn't want to slow others down. it's a miracle she survived the final selection at all. she is a rare breed, able to use moon breathing more easily than the water breathing she initially learned. she is a tsuchinoe ranked slayer for now.

mahoutsukai no yome .

a priestess of the sami people, able to draw her magic from the light of the moon to offer blessings to those around her. however, her magic is running out, and she aids lindel in caring for the dragons, hiding from the fact that once her magic truly disappears, so will she. subject to change in the future.
shadows house .

columbina was taken into the shadows house as a child, paired with the shadow known as seija. unbeknownst to them, their names are swapped, with seija being the original child that was brought into the house.
already merged with her shadow and an adult of the house, her soot power allows her to detect the emotional state of others; she can tell if anyone she touches with her soot is grieving, angry, joyful, etc.
immune to the brainwashing, she has been kept isolated from the other adults most of the time, only allowed out during important meetings. this doesn't stop her from sneaking out, though. the more she is isolated, the weaker she becomes.
