Renee was never one to follow the rules and rules were certainly something that was out of the window on this particular day. The cyborg proudly walked through the elaborate corridors of the Livingston Labs building, her arm unceremoniously hanging off, merely being held on by a couple of wires, the bone showing, along with the numerous metal pieces in place, sparks flying every so often. The arm hadn’t too long ago been fixed but the woman just couldn’t help herself. Anything that would gain her an audience with the woman she loved, her Maker and in many ways, now her God.
“Hey! You should see the other guy!” she laughed, noting how other scientists were staring at Renee with wide eyes, knowing full well that this would not go down well at all when their boss found out, it was almost an infamous scene. “Has anyone seen a particularly egotistical red head, shorter than me, wearing a lab coat and acts like she has a stick shoved up her ass? Come on, you all have to know who I’m talking about at this point.”
The woman then paused when she spotted who she’d been looking for and then playfully curtsied “My liege” she grinned, not even bothering to hide the arm that only let out some more sparks as a circuit board failed.
