Violet eyes not quite obscured by brown contacts gazed through the glass wall in front of her. He would probably think she picked this place because it was public, and because no one in their right mind would open fire in a room made primarily of glass - and full of kids. But that wasn’t why. She said four because it was near closing time. There were no kids. She just liked fish. Especially the big ones. They seemed to completely ignore her, perfectly content with gliding in circles. Nothing scarier in that tank than the giant turtle lurking at the back, and even that was harmless. She his reflection behind her and quickly arranged her face to display something like happiness, her hand fluffing her shortish blonde hair as she turned. “Ah! There you are! I thought you stood me up!” Her hands were up as she said it, as if in mock dismay. I’m not armed. She gave a convincing girlish laugh and leaned up to stage a kiss on his cheek. “Were you followed?” she muttered in her normal tone of voice, before it went back up a notch as she moved away and looped her arm through his, her bright smile making it seem like that voice by his ear just a second ago couldn’t have come from her. “I wanna see the jellyfish, they’re in the dark, though.”
