Approaching the stranger, his features split into a BRIGHT sile as he held out the leaflets for his bands next concert. they were playing at a small venue’s punk band. Unknown here, Nobu had taken it upon himself to help distribute flyers. “Hey, if you’re free this weekend come SUPPORT Blast!”

001 /  YOU ARE A GIFT. :  this follows the main plot of the brightburn movie , and is an umbrella verse for all interactions that would take place during that time for brandon .

002 /  THEY WILL ALL KNOW MY NAME. :  after the events of brightburn , brandon goes in to foster care under the pretense of being orphaned by the plane crashing in to his childhood home . he further assumes the " brightburn " identity and begins to leave a path destruction as he works on his promise of taking the world .

003 /  TAKE THE WORLD ! :  sometime after his actions go viral , brandon joins forces with other apex individuals who hold similar resentful feelings towards mankind . he never really sees them as equals , and his constant boasting and conceited  behavior always manage to stir up trouble within the group , but he decides to keep them around anyways . however, he still makes the time to remind everyone who's truly in charge .

it's unclear to brandon how he was teleported from his earth to earth-616 . it had been due to the quantum realm and time colliding back together from tony stark's final snap , but there was no possible way for him to know that . one moment he was mid-air , eyes red hot with heat lasers as they bore in to the side of a skyscraper , and the next he was falling , falling and falling -  back down in to heart of los angeles , California . except , it wasn't his los angeles . there were advertisements for films and actors he didn't recognize , and worse , the city showed no trace of his previous destruction . there were no screams , fires , or helicopters circling the sky . it was like brandon had never been there , and infact , as it turned out , brandon hadn't been there . brandon breyer didn't exist in this universe . brightburn didn't exist . he was nothing in this universe . no one cowered and ran at the sight of him . instead , he found that superheroes and supervillains were common here , and people seemed to find his homemade costume adorable . he was stuck in a world where he was nothing , where no one knew of him , where all his hard work had been for nothing . he was beyond angry , and filled with rage , he prepared to start over . he had heard of the avengers , how they destroyed so many powerful villains before him , but they had not heard of him . he was brightburn and no one was a match for him -  or so he thought . he was sure that they would show their faces eventually , so he focused his attention on destroying this new world .

the events of brightburn takes place during the five year gap between the beginning and end of endgame . brandon uses the fallen -  the dusted -  as a distraction, and as everyone was focused on bringing everyone back , he took the opportunity to make his name known . when thanos returned to earth , he figured he'd take his chances and team up with the mad titan . 

third , upon request :

pretty much the same as above , except the events of brightburn takes place after the second snappening . just when everything is starting to calm down , and everyone's defenses are down as they begin to recover , brandon strikes -  thinking it was the perfect opportunity to take the world . the avengers had reign too long , and just maybe thanos was on to something .

fourth , upon request :

following the events of brightburn in 2019 , brandon had shifted his attention on to taking the rest of the world . however , only a few months later , a curious orange portal opened in front of him . maybe the owner of the portal had mistaken his power for something good . he didn't ask questions before stepping through . except , when he went from the comfort of his own bedroom on to a battle field within seconds , he knew he should've just went back to sleep . dressed in his red cape and mask , he found himself in a fight where he wasn't on either sides , where he didn't know where he was , and who anyone was . but when the people -  or creatures -  across the field started to attack , he knew he couldn't just stand around . he might be indestructible , but that didn't mean being knocked around was fun . besides , even with his lacking fighting skills , the people who's side he happened to step in to ( lucky them ! ) could definitely use his help . it didn't necessarily mean he had to stick around and make friends afterwards . it turns out , however , everyone seemed to have questions for him . questions he wasn't interested in answering , even if he could answer them . but when he found out he couldn't return to his own reality -  that he was stuck in a world where no one knew who he was and where his previous endeavors never happened , he decided that everyone would know his name .
