"I will rejoice in the Lord. I will take joy in the God of my salvation." — Habakkuk 3:18
She is far more precious than rubies.
Comforting words for such a time as this.
"For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation." — 2 Corinthians 7:10
I had those 3:00 AM thoughts again and at around 4:00 AM, I uttered some words to God. I prayed. Questions ran in my head. I asked. I pleaded. Then, I got up to sit in front of my laptop. I noticed the time was 4:21. But I also noticed that the digits below it were exactly 4:21. It just passed my sight but I got baffled of the double numbers and I looked again and realized that the time and date were exactly the same: 4:21 AM on 4:21, 2020, today.
I proceeded to screenshot the number sequence I saw. Then added some elements to highlight it. I decided a heart would be nicer than the square I first threw in. But then I decided a rainbow heart would be more fun and special. Then I searched for the meaning of the number sequence I just saw, or any verse that’s relevant. Among the verses I read were John 4:21 where it says, “21 ‘Believe Me, woman,’ Jesus replied, ‘a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.’” But I was specifically drawn to Romans 4:21. The words in this verse had a special meaning to me relevant to that moment of inquiry. I added some graphics to put in the verse I’ve searched and read from the Bible. The physical copy I own was clear, simple and concise in its translation, I think. So I decided to use it instead. Then suddenly, a song started playing in my head: It was Many Moore’s hit (cover): Have a Little Faith in Me where the lyrics goes like this: When the road gets dark And you can no longer see Let my love throw a spark Have a little faith in me
And when the tears you cry Are all you can believe Just give these loving arms a try baby and Have a little faith, faith in me
Have a little faith in me Have a little faith in me, oh and Have a little faith in me Have a little faith, faith in me I hope this brings hope to your troubled heart. That though times may be tough as we are living in troubled times, there’s peace for those who are in God. This is a reminder that His promises still stand and His love never fails. Happy April 21st!
I was feeling discouraged about my life. I was asking God if my dreams would ever come true. Would I have hope or would I lie living in my own ruins until the end of my life? Then I got up, it was past 4:00 AM. This is what I saw on my PC's clock. At first it didn't make any sense, I thought the date was just 4-21 but I looked again as I noticed the same number was doubled, it was a double 4-21. Then I realized the clock's time and the date (that day) was in synced / the same. So I made some graphics of it, decided to surround it with a rainbow heart. I still don't know the meaning of it yet, so I looked for verses that could contain significant meaning of these digits. Among it was John 4:21 where it says, “21 ‘Believe Me, woman,’ Jesus replied, ‘a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.’” But I was specifically drawn to Romans 4:21. I smiled when I read the chapter from my Bible. The message was just beautiful. I also read "God Promises" posts from several Christian prophets during that day. I believe that 4-21 holds significant meaning about God's promises. I believe He is speaking about His promises to the body of Christ. That He does not make idle promises (Victoria Boyson's Post about God's promises on April 21st. https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=3711229172282449&id=122663657805703&__tn__=K-R) And Cindy Jacob's (In times of chaos like the one we’re living through right now, it can be easy to lose sight of the promises God has given us. But He told us this would be a time when we grow into His purposes for us and that there would be resistance as we came into the Promised Land. Trust Him to continue working out His plan; no virus is going to keep you from your destiny!) A lot more from other Christian pages from that day alone all talking about God's promises. Here's my screenshot of mine: (P.S. The song playing in my head after I made the graphic was "Have a Little Faith in Me..." by Mandy Moore) May you be blessed, too, the same way that it did me. <3 4:21 on April 21st, 2020.
Calm.
The leaders of Israel and the king humbled themselves and said, 'The Lord is Just.' - 2Chronicles 12:6 This made me smile when I was having my alone time with God. The lsraelites were once again punished because they grew unfaithful to God and their response? Humility. Sometimes, especially when trials strike us, we just need to be still and know that he is God. To be calm that these struggles can shape us to be better. He knows what he is doing. Trust.
