Hope you're doing good despite the disappointment ! I just wanted to share my reactions because I personally am excited for the banner and story update but I totally understand the points you made ! What was really missing for me in the live were ways to get diamonds because I am strictly f2p. However, because of that, I'm far from done with the orbits so I guess I just have to be veeeeery patient… And the house ! Part of me is bery excited for it, part of me isn't. As a way to have more interactions with the LIs (and hopefully increase affinity!), I'm interested. But : 1) I don't care about moving furniture around on a TINY phone screen (and any personalization feature actually, whether it's this, the journal thing that I've never touched, the office in the With you part, or even my MC who doesn't look like me at all) 2) don't care about playing music or doing chores (??) either - I don't wanna play the Sims 3) don't want it if it's going to take a billion gb of storage and slow down the phone (because the "new" storage cleaning feature ? I doubt it's going to be very effective 😂). I would have been fine with a simpler house system, like some sort of enhanced café interactions thingy. I do not need a Genshin Serenity pot on my phone lol. As for the spice, I started playing LADS last year because of Nightly rdv so I did hoped for spicy cards also, but I think what's missing in the 5 stars might be in the 4 stars (like Silent poem or Unreturned traveler for example were, in my opinion, hotter than their 5⭐) ? And if not, then I can still come to your blog 🤭 Buuut overall I'm still pretty excited for the new version ! And always very curious to read opinions different from mine hehe
Hello! Thank you for your thoughts. I'm genuinely not trying to rain on anyone's parade but as a veteran player, I feel like the game isn't going in the right direction.
Yeah, I'm trying to fight through my disappointment right now. I went from being a mid spender to aurum pass only in the middle of the year because I was laid off. And even with aurum pass it's so difficult to save diamonds. It's frustrating because it looks like F2P barely have enough diamonds and resources to pull on a maximum of 2-3 banners per year which really sucks. I understand not pulling on all of them but there are easily 3 banners per month, so about 36 banners in total, and only pulling on 2-3???? What kind of stats are those?
I feel like the house update would have been better received if Infold had addressed more of the basic issues like lighting, farming, grinding, affinity, orbits, missing content etc, but it feels like they're turning a deaf ear to those issues. I too think it feels very Sims-like and I'm not particularly happy at the idea that the gems are locked behind more tasks like setting up the house. It would have been more ideal for them to introduce something similar to Abyssal Chaos, or at least do a monthly reset for rewards.
As for spicy content, I feel like the 4 star cards are great, but there's something in the visual aspect of a 5 star that can't compete - the tension, the yearning, the heat...I was in this game for actual scenes because if I'm listening to a 4 star...then how is it different from any other otome game on the market?
