i deeply hate the posts comparing davina and bonnie when many of their circumstances were different but the one i hate the most is the one where it's like "davina lived for telling people no and bonnie never could" and now i look like i hate davina for calling you stupid when i don't

because like. you're ignoring the obvious here. davina told a bunch of old ass vampires no after they moved to her city and started terrorizing her and her friends. the people bonnie should have been telling no are her childhood friends. no, actually, not even that. her childhood friends + the vampires who moved into her town and started fucking shit up without having a way to fix it without bonnie. she didn't say yes just for the hell of it. if she had said no like y'all wanted, a lot of your faves would be dead!

is hard to talk about without feeling like im projecting but idk. maybe i’m just mad bc i feel a certain kinship to characters who are somewhat... uncouth. like don’t get me wrong, i love grace and class and the thrill of thinking about having money and power but also like... i truly think there’s value and a lot of comfort in someone... you can truly characterize to be................ normal and weird.

like ig just.. one of the reasons turning toji into a sex god feels so off is bc i honestly see a lot of potential in using him as a comfort character who understands pain vs. as someone very... rudimentary / only good for one thing. DUNNO.
