I hate the rise in popularity of vertical QLs with sixty episodes that are one minute long, I hate the TikTokification of the QL space. Those low quality vertical drama streaming apps have longer episodes than some of these damn QLs, and I won’t even lie, some have better production and acting.
If your QL can be told in sixty minutes, then just make it into a short movie, or pad the runtime with thirty minutes of bullshit side characters and make it a full ninety minute long movie. Face it, not everything gay needs to be a series, and not everything needs to be easily watched on a fucking phone! Read a book on your subway ride to work, damn!
