Verity listened and quickly understood how much all of this was true, how this man liked to play with words, he was good at it. He didn’t say anything definitive, so she couldn’t really tell how honest he really was, if he was doing it on purpose or not. He sounded interesting, dangerous but interesting.“You want to know something? You don’t sound like a lie.” She offered with a small and brief smile. “And for what it’s worth because I’m not quite sure to understand your point. I think we all play an act, it can be our own, or one we don’t totally know, one we saw or heard somewhere else. And when we do a mistake while playing it, it sounds wrong. Maybe you’re just really good at playing a piece that you copied while being bad at playing the one your supposed to compose. Do you sound wrong or fake for all that? Nope.”

"Fascinating. " There was something chilling in the way he had sait it. Almost like he was looking at an art piece. She had slightly missed the point but her views on what he stated about lies was quite telling of how she viewed the world. " And you? How do you sound to yourself? "
