He liked meandering the halls of their Watch Tower on occasion. Blanketed in a calm quiet, surrounded by humming machines at work while graced with the site of Earth from an unfathomable distance away. Mostly, though, he enjoyed seeing their best works on display. Small trinkets ( ‘trophies’ one might correct ) that outlined many a hard endeavor overcome by joined spirits of camaraderie and bravery. Their stories immortalized in a singed batarang here, old arrow there, or awful selfie.

Caught up in the unrelenting netting of nostalgia made it easy for Hal to slip past his radar, almost entirely dismissing the rocket man’s arrival for a plaque dedicated to best Halloween blunder --------- but not quite so lucky.
