Six years ago today, I was working an overnight job and was as miserable as I’ve ever been. I saw @pambeastly’s tinder profile and decided to reach out, and folks, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Even in Quar, these have been the happiest six years of my life. We laugh together every single day, and there’s no one I’d rather grow with. I’m the luckiest guy in the world. We’re both finally fully vaccinated so we had a little food truck patio dinner for the first time in a year and it was great to feel somewhat normal, even though it felt WILD to be sitting unmasked among other people, distanced or not. Hey hi. Five years ago today, I was working a terrible job overnights, and I happened to see @pambeastly’s profile on tinder. In it, she mentioned that she was bored. I never ever reached out to people first, but something compelled me to ask her why she was bored. She replied, and we bonded over a mutual love of the Smashing Pumpkins. We didn’t start dating for a while after that, but we always remember the date of that initial conversation because it changed both of our lives for the better, in so many ways. @pambeastly is the greatest person I’ve ever known. I turned down an aisle in target and she was sitting like this in this chair. I asked if I could take a pic and told her she was making a Robert DeNiro face, and she did this without knowing I was filming her.
