Can you suggest any books similar to the style of J.D. Salinger? I've read most of his stuff and am looking for more things like it.

Well, I haven’t actually read anything by J.D. Salinger (don’t hate me), so I don’t really think I can give a recommendation personally. 

But, I found a list of similar authors on goodreads. It might be a great place to start. Personally, I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read of Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Plath, Flannery O’Connor, and I have a love/hate relationship with Steinbeck. John Updike might be a good choice.
