1) The national team you support: off to a good start. Well. At first, Russia wouldn’t allow Hajo Seppelt, an investigative journalist known for his documentary about systematic doping in Russian sports into the country for the World Cup, and very briefly there was talk of Germany boycotting the tournament altogether. I would have supported that.
2) The national team you wouldn’t mind winning: Iceland, like Julia
3) The national team you love to hate: love and hate are both strong words. Spain, Netherlands, Brazil?
4) The favourite player from your national team: hm. (Do Lukas Mühl and Eduard Löwen count?)
5) A player you dislike from your national team: hmmmmmm.
6) A player you love from a national team you hate: not called up in a bit, still: Javier Pinola

8) The first World Cup you can remember: 1990.
9) Your favourite World Cup so far: I’ve usually been quite enthusiastic about the world cups. I’m a bit sad it’s like this now. Eff DFB, and FIFA, and Putin, and the whole lot. (By chance, this is also the first world cup in 20 years without any FCN players. I hope Rúrik does well, at least.)
10) The winner of the 2018 World Cup: I couldn’t say. Michael Köllner (I don’t know how seriously) predicted England. (”Surprises: England and Belgium, Stars: hopefully many!” )
