Shoto Todoroki:
- Secret: You and Shoto keep your relationship a secret. It isn’t because he’s ashamed or embarrassed of you, he just doesn’t want to subject you to meeting his father. He is also incredibly nervous in the beginning. He’s never dated anyone before or really experienced a love like yours. He doesn’t want to worry about everyone else’s opinion or making a fool of himself. He’d rather keep your love all to himself while learning how to be the partner you deserve.
- Presents: Shoto likes to spoil you with presents. Often times it’s small things, your favorite drink left on your desk or a cute stuffed animal that made him think of you. But other times it’s more ostentatious gifts. He’s given you a necklace that costs more than a month’s rent and once whisked you away on a vacation on the beach, miles from home. Shoto would give anything to see you smile.
- Earnest: Shoto loves you with everything he has. He’s not good at putting things into words, but when he does he is sincere. He speaks without fear or hesitation. You often wonder how you got so lucky.
- Names: Shoto sticks to the classics when it comes to pet names. Typically he calls you darling or my love. The words are sweet as honey on his lips. He will respond to any pet name you give him, but he blushes particularly red when you call him handsome.
- Calls: Shoto isn’t big on texting, but every night before bed he calls you. You tell each other about your days and anything else you might think of. It’s pretty common for you to fall asleep while talking to your boyfriend.
- Entertainment: Since Shoto has asked to keep your relationship a secret, proper dates can be difficult. However, he wants to make sure you’re treated right. Often times he’ll take you to a fancy dinner or a movie a few towns over so the pair of you won’t run into anyone you know. He also likes to slow dance with you around the house on occasion. Even if you’re not particularly great at dancing, Shoto just likes to hold you close.
- Relationship: After the pair of you have been together for about six months Shoto finally feels comfortable sharing the news about your relationship. All your friends congratulate the both of you. Endeavor asks to meet you, but Shoto refuses. He’s still working on forgiving his father and he’s unwilling to share this piece of his life with him at the moment. However, Shoto does take you to meet his mother. She loves you and is very happy for you both.
