IC 1396, Elephant's Trunk Nebula, is a large, faint emission nebula in the constellation Cepheus. It is a region of glowing ionized gas and dust where new stars are forming. The nebula is energized by a central, bluish multiple star system called HD 206267. This star system's radiation causes the surrounding gas to glow.

Thor's Helmet Nebula, aka NGC 2359, is a bubble-shaped emission nebula, 30 lights years in size, in the constellation Canis Major. It is formed by powerful stellar winds from an extremely hot Wolf-Rayet star, known as WR7. These are stars in a late stage of its life. The nebula's name comes from its helmet-looking shape with straps - like Thor's Helmet.
