👍 Does my muse prefer to be asked on a date, or would they rather do the asking?
taylor is on autopilot as of late. maybe he doesn't feel as desirable as he used to-- and the possibility of going on a date with someone new or even putting himself out there to start is a little daunting. he wakes up every morning at the same time, has the same mug of tea and egg-on-toast, and then he toils the rest of his day at the bookstore, selling old magick to reliable customers. no romance. no fluttering stomach, or tightening chest, or warm cheeks. all this rambling is leading to the short answer: he'd probably prefer to be asked, because the interest or effort of asking isn't on his radar.
💯 What is my muse’s ideal date?
if you invite out a boy like this, and let him choose the destination.. it's going to end up domestic, maybe even mundane. let's envision glowing blue lights in a series of dark rooms. brilliant salt water fish on display-- 'n maybe even a hands-on enclosure or two. that'd be the ideal first date for taylor. absolutely-- and he'd insist on reading you all the placards on each tank at the large deep sea aquarium, and maybe even ask for your help with working out the scientific syllables. he'd sneak his hand into yours in the jellyfish room, and pay attention to whatever you peek at a little too long in the gift shop-- just so he can rush back and purchase it for you as a little trinket reminder of your time together. and how about after? there's a cafe he likes best, and he convinces you to let him take you there. coffee or tea? and a pastry to go with it. maybe he thinks it's funny to tell the cashier that it's your birthday, even if it isn't-- an easy lie that gets you a free french macaron. you gonna reward him with a little kiss at the end of the night or will he have to ask?
