❅ No matter how often they had gone out, their many sweet dates, ever since getting rescued in that bar, some weeks prior, always new she just couldn't get used to it, this sweet feeling, the attention received, as if every little thing got noticed, as if all of Mars' attention was constantly on her. It made her happy, a new kind of joy, similar yet different to the happiness experienced at home, growing up with her older brother, the same kind of coziness, only lacking this mellow affection, shown in little gestures, even holding hands in the short time outside, on the way from cinema to the coffeeshop. It had longe since been overdue, introducing her girlfriend - were they so far already? She had never asked, too shy to do so - to her best friend, not even having mentioned seeing someone to Venus, not until having been asked, the question coming out of thin air, let out a few days ago, caused by some romance movie duering their movie night. Whether she was seeing someone, even just having interest, then she had finally mentioned it, having gone out a few times, a person having saved her from some strangers in a club, dragged out and left by her classmates, lost in such a giant club, it had started with a dinner out of gratitude, such a simple manner, turned into more after some time, daily exchange of messages, just as much as with Venus, a call every some days, a date at least once a week. She hadn't been used to it, being treated with so much attentiveness, unlike the one she was used to, sending jolts through her body with every touch, raising butterflies in her stomach, turning her heart into some hummingbird. With only one relationship, set-up by her father, ending quite dramatically, leaving her with scars she never mentioned, not until forced into it, she didn't know much, hadn't even understood Mars' way of approaching her at first, her intention and interest, not until being told straight to her face. It seemed only fair, getting them to meet each other, having such a tight bond with each of them, one since longer, one still new, for being a part of her daily life and feelings now. Despite the only short way, marking the end of their date, her fingers were frozen, only one hand held warm, warmth kept inbetween their palms, making it more bearable, making her hold out until being inside again, the café surprisingly quiet for this time of the day, Venus just this much easier to spot. A simple wave of her hand, joy merely expressed by a sparkle to her eyes, without the twitching of lips, no indication for a smile, a rare sight on her face, before she turned her head to Mars, indicating with a tilt where to go, just before leading her, gently dragging her towards the table, even pulling a chair out for her. "Shall I get you something to drink while you introduce yourself?" Meaning Just tell me what you want and I'll get it for you quickly, unsure as to how to introduce them, rather fleeing towards the counter, fleeing the initial moments, a habit of hers, choosing to flee whenever it was about run or fight.
