Considering how Shifty considers her Vessels "gifts", I'd like to hc she loves and cherishes them all dearly. Literally just vibing in the Long Quiet with her collected Vessels and also giving them loving touches.

Shifty making the palm of her many hands as punching pads for Adversary and EOTN to give them smth to fight.

Tower and Apotheosis calling Shifty "her dearly divinity", acknowledging and respecting Shifty for being so certain of her godhood. Cuz to Tower, Shifty is power and freedom and love. Except Apotheosis acknowledges that love part of Shifty.

Shifty braiding Prisoner's hair, brushing it gently all the while being holding her. Tracing idle patterns on her palms. Prisoner has never felt so at peace and falls asleep with a content smile.

Shifty playing the knife game with Razor, but she purposely tries to stab her. This does little to lessen Shifty's love for her piercing heart, as the experience has only achieved in blunting Razor's sharp edges.

Dancing with Damsel, HEA and Cage to the point of having no rhythm and rhyme in their movements, just being silly.

Doing shadow puppets with Nightmare, Spectre, PATD and MOC. Nightmare (not believing Shifty's love being genuine) decides to test the waters and just embrace the hands tightly enough to shut down a person's entire being. Except all she got was being hugged as fiercely in return.

Petting Beast, Den, Witch and Thorn. Their purring is l o u d enough to vibrate the space around them.

Helping Stranger in harmonizing with herself. They ended up doing a choir lmao, with Nightmare and Spectre joining in on the fun.

Learning to love all her Vessels with her Heart Princess all the while because these are parts of herself she'll forever cherish and learn from, because she would like to know herself. And to know her hearts too.

Vessel never bothers with shoes once he’s inside.The moment the door closes, they’re off. Maybe he used to wear them before, before Sleep. But after all that shabang, he needs grounding. He needs his feet on surfaces.

When V notices it the first time, he just… stops.

“You don’t wear shoes?”

Vessel glances down, flexes his toes once, almost sheepish.

“Can’t think properly if I can’t feel the ground.”

He picks things up with his toes easily.

On stage whenever he can get away with it, he’ll go barefoot. Even if it’s just rehearsal or sound check.

After shows, when adrenaline is still humming under Vessel’s skin, V will catch him pacing barefoot across concrete or wood, toes curling slightly with each step.

“Does it help?” V asks.

Vessel answers without hesitation.

“It keeps me here.”

Then, softer:

“Otherwise I float.”

And if anyone ever comments on it?

Vessel only says:

“Hard to worship the ground when you never touch it.”

This headpiece I saw on Pinterest reminded me of the Razor (I just realized those are bullets and not blades, but if they were blades instead it would be Razor coded)

Den's hand in ours, looks like ours because despite everything she models herself after us. Not everything but the hand that holds the blade and the hand that strikes her, the hand that reaches out to pull her out, is what she has seen over and over again. No wonder it looks a little like ours.

I had the idea of the Princesses being called "the court" (like fans calling the voices "the flock) which also gave me the mental image of them holding a massive debate any time they want to do anything - making dinner, making a chore wheel, movie night, everything is a Process in this house. I think their living situation would be an absolute disaster, examples: - The house is empty most of the time because none of the princesses really like staying inside that often - most of the time they'll hang out around the outside instead. (Also in Apotheosis' case she literally can't fit inside) - Everyone likes to decorate to make the house feel more like a "home" instead of a prison like the cabin. Unfortunately that's like 20 people each with very different interior decorating styles. The house looks like "kitsch" exploded. It's impossible to see the walls under all of the pictures and tapestries taped up, there are way too many throw pillows, and there are plants everywhere (plants being one of the main things everyone likes). - HEA doesn't cook because fuck being a "perfect housewife." She lives off of doordash. - Most of the doors have been "replaced" by a massive hole in the wall because bigger princesses like Needle and Den can't get through them easily. - There are a lot of princesses and not many rooms (there's no way to get a decent-sized house in this economy, not even as the embodiment of change). Prisoner sleeps in the bathtub. - Some Princesses don't need sleep (the ghost girls, probably Apotheosis, others). Nightmare gets lonely during the night and will pick a random princess to watch sleep. There is no way to stop her. - Tower does actually need to sleep but insists that she doesn't. She'll frequently pass out in random spots around the house and the others will have to either drag her to the nearest couch or throw a blanket over her. - Burned Grey keeps setting the place on fire

I feel like each of the Princesses deserves their own designated flower

Dragon - Blue hydrangeas (they directly represent empathy)

HEA - Lunaria Annua (AKA the Honesty Plant) OR White carnations (they symbolise pure love and new beginnings)

Cage - Lotus (for the cycle of life and death)

Spectre - Red carnations (As they mean 'My heart aches for you' which is a sentence portraying longing)

Prisoner - Astilbe (It means 'I will be waiting')

Damsel - Pink rose (Obviously, but specifically fifty because it means 'I will always love you')

Fury - Daffodil (For resilience even in tough conditions)

Apotheosis - Cammelia (For perfection, a synonym of her name)

Wraith - Hollyhock (for ambition and drive)

Stranger - Protea (for diversity and transformation)

Thorn - Poppies (they line the walls of her 'cabin')

Witch - Black dahlias (for insincerity)

Razor - Rododhendrons (They are literally used as warning signs)

EOTN - Torch lily (It looks like fire, and she is just as intense)

Advy - Red roses (They mean intense passion)

MOC - Purple iris (for wisdom)

Nightmare - Rock rose (it means fear)

Den - Red amaranth (It symbolises Artemis, the Huntress)

Beast - Clematis (for cunning)

Grey (Drowned) - Lavender (For silence, devotion, and wisdom)

Grey (Burned) - Red carnations (They convey deep, intense romantic commitment)

Tower - Nasturtium (It means conquest and strength)

Wild - Dahlias (for commied bonds)

Terminus - Black Roses (For opulence and mystery, as well as luxury and death)

Beholding - Sage (It is commonly used in literature to symbolise wisdom) [Honestly I preferred white roses but :(]
