Greetings and salutations!

This blog is exactly what it says on the tin, its a place for people to send in Slay the Princess headcanons, as I haven't seen something like this in this fandom :3 Now, some rules are in order, please read them before sending anything in. -There is only one mod, and I may not see everything quickly, but I will try my absolute best. [I use any prns btw!] If it seems like I'm ignoring something, I either didn't see it yet, or am trying to work out a response, please don't send the same thing twice. -This blog will inevitably contain spoilers, gore, violence, and probably some other pg16+ stuff too. These will be labeled!! -Anon asks are, of course, allowed! Please don't spam tho :'] -Please don't send in NSFW headcanons, or at the very least nothing more suggestive that in-game content. Again, be reasonable. If you think it's too suggestive, it probably is! I'll put labels and warnings on suggestive stuff anyways, just in case, but please don't make my job harder :'] [Elaboration: jokes or discussion about Broken/Tower and their rather... "interesting" dynamic is okay, even if it gets somewhat suggestive. However anything that's 100% NSFW based, even if its just in a biological sense, is prohibited. I respect creativity, but I don't wanna think about bird mating cycles please and thank you. also no omegaverse, even if its not nsfw. no shade towards people who like that stuff, I am just not one of them.] -Au ideas are both permitted and encouraged! -If, at any point, anybody decides to write a fic or make a comic based on something from this account, please do not use the askbox to promote such things. Put any fic/comic links in the comments or reblogs of the post the hc came from. -Feel free to claim any emoji or whatever as an Anon signoff, I will try my best to keep a list and tag things :3 -This blog doesn't have an age limit, but please be reasonable. The game has its own rating and warnings, and I recommend you abide by those. No solid DNI other than the obvious[No bigots, stuff like that ect], just be respectful and like. don't be weird?? No limit regarding ages, but be sensible. if you're like 14 maybe hesitate a bit, but I don't care at the end of the day, just be safe. [ik that most of the rules are common sense and boil down to "be reasonable" but still. These rules are not set in stone and are subject to change, but I'll let people know if/when that happens] Organizational tags are pretty straightforward and don't warrant a list imo, but if it is needed, feel free to let me know :3

INSANE yapfest aside, this is my first time running a blog like this, so if I make any mistakes or you have any advice, don't hesitate to let me know!

Ghosts au concept

Hero obviously died in the medieval era, but he's been hanging around living people for so long that he's developed a more modern dialect

So while other ghosts from his time period are still using "thine" and "hark" and stuff

Opportunist, subconsciously: I’m irredeemably evil and inherently unlikable so I must get good grades in Interacting With People and Being Useful (both of which are goals that are normal to want and possible to achieve) so that people tolerate me enough to not kill or abandon me, both of which being equally devastating. These are normal thoughts to have.

Saw that one hc about Hunted and Opp running around to get out some steam and wanted to add my own anecdote. What if they've made it a sort of exercise between the two of them: a game of cat and mouse, Hunted runs to keep its senses honed at all times whilst Opportunist chases to explore more of his feral opportunistic nature that he cant doesn't the rest of the flock

Hunted seeing that Opportunist is albino and subconsciously thinking to himself “this flockmate has terrible camouflage and possibly poor vision and who knows what else, I must protect him more carefully than I would with the others”

Opportunist is mostly fine — his vision is slightly worse but not enough for him to fully notice it, and he relies more on his hearing anyway — but can’t find it in himself to argue when Hunted tries to do things like bring him food or drag him into his nest.

I think Hunted and Contrarian would occasionally run into the woods together for very different reasons. Contrarian just wants to do something fun, Hunted is going off Animal Instinct To Run In The Woods. Both come back hours later covered in twigs and leaves and to a very concerned flock

I feel like Cold would generally be a chill guy that has high empathy but has no sympathy or compassion. He feels what you feel but he does not care at all. He'll understand and feel what you're going through, but he'll treat it positively no matter what you're going through. Whether you're going through the worst time of your life or going through the happiest time in a while, he's just glad to be able to feel something by understanding you. He really hates nothing happening. Does this make any sense?

This morning I was thinking about a post-construct AU where all the vessels are mortal, and how difficult a time Tower would have adjusting to not having powers

Just like. imagine her forgetting that she can't just stick out her hand at an object she wants to get it to come to her and gets really frustrated when she has to actually go retrieve it

imagine her forgetting she can no longer float and falling down stairs, being incredibly mortified by it

forgetting that she can't control people by commanding them, but a lot of the time she stares at them intimidatingly long enough that they do what she says anyway

it's probably all a very humbling and infuriating experience for her

oooooooooooo I love that concept, I think it would have SUCH an interesting effect on her psychologically

Finding them and shining a flashlight at them and Hunted and Oppy just freeze like deer in headlights, eyes reflecting a lot of the light and looking like they’re glowing

I saw this and it immediately made me think of hero and cold from the monster au.

Like this is how they meet. Hero is delighted in making a new friend, cold is deeply interested in everything this strange child is willing to yap about, and hero’s parents are eternally worried about the 300 year old vampire their child says is their new best friend.
