Decorative Sunday: Vestibules, etc.

Today we highlight architectural drawings from Germany in the 1880s: Zimmerwände, durchfahrten, vestibules, etc., und ihre decorative ausstattung für bürgerliche und herrschaftliche wohnungen. These lithographic renderings “for bourgeois and stately homes” were designed and drawn by Gustav Steinhausen. This portfolio of twelve designs was published by B.F. Voigt in the city of Weimar in 1885.

i’ve been getting pins and needles style numbness and tingling deep in and around my left ear. it doesn’t bother me really except as a component of (gestures). it feels like my ear and that section of my brain and skull and face has foot fell asleep sensation. it’s basically all the time to some degree. sometimes it drills down into just my vestibule area and ear parts, sometimes there’s some interior stabbing with it, but but mostly it’s (static).
