I really miss playing Ves
original post
I got a simply breathtaking commission of Vesxlit from @lichelet recently. ♡ Haven't been able to stop fangirling over it yet.
DnD characters: 19, 21 and 23
19. most likely to get married and have childrenTeeki>Vesxlit>Phailyn
Teeki’s pretty into the idea of a family. She may not necessarily get her ideal version of it–she’s after the whole nice-house-picket-fence-two-dogs type deal. But I could just as easily see her caring for kids on the road, taking a page from Primrose’s book and having a baby in a papoose on her back.
Ves is probably not likely to raise her own children, but she is interested in a long-term partnership somewhere down the line. And who knows, maybe she’s more inspired by her parents than she’d want to admit. Phai knows he wouldn’t make a good husband or father. He expects to die for his mission, so whether he wants a family seems to him a question only pondered to torment himself.
21. most to least sexualTeeki>Phailyn>Vesxlit
Teeki’s the only D&D character I’m playing right now who isn’t asexual, so that probably puts her in the lead by default. She’s one thirsty gobbo anyway.
Phai’s fairly sex-positive ace, he’s open to advances though I don’t really get the sense of him having sexual attraction. For him it’s something to relieve stress, and if he has a romantic interest in someone he does view it in a very intimate light.
Ves’s whole race of weird bug people is functionally asexual, and she herself is kind of repulsed by the concept of sex. Most human physical intimacy is lowkey gross to her, with the exception of the most casual stuff like hugs and hand-holding.
23. best to worst chefPhailyn>Teeki>Vesxlit
Phai is a decent cook. He doesn’t especially enjoy cooking, but he can make something warm, filling, and very nutritious without much of a fuss. He comes from a cold climate so a lot of his recipes are informed by that, and he’s used to ad-libbing and working with foraged ingredients. Teeki isn’t used to most ingredients–she hadn’t even heard of cheese before the campaign–but if you give her a piece of meat or a fish she can cook it to tender deliciousness.
Ves has no idea how to cook a damn thing. I think the only thing she’s ever cooked in her life was maybe a salad. Once.
4, 11, 14! :D
4. biggest to smallest feetPhailyn>Vesxlit>Teeki
This is a pretty easy one cuz my D&D characters are all pretty different in overall size, nevermind foot size. Ves is taller than Phai but she’s a bug with very thin limbs, so her feet are probably not as big as his.
11. most to least optimisticTeeki>Vesxlit>Phailyn
Most of my characters aren’t really optimists by nature. Ves and Teeki are kind of even, but I think that the nature of their optimism is very different. Ves tries very hard to see the good in people, where Teeki doesn’t generally. Meanwhile, Teeki generally thinks that if she fights tooth and nail and sticks to the people she does trust like glue, everything else in life will probably fall into place. Ves sort of thinks the world is falling to pieces around her.
Don’t even get me started on Phai. Lordy.
14. most to least fashionableVesxlit>Phailyn>Teeki
Ves would have wanted to be a tailor if she hadn’t had her destiny spelled out for her at birth. She loves the art of fashion. Phailyn has good aesthetic sense, he just doesn’t put the effort in often. His clothing tends to look basic but not unpleasant in design.
Teeki’s… kind of a wild card. She certainly likes the idea of fashion. But I think her idea of it tends to be “wear as many nice expensive things as you can at once” when she dresses up. She doesn’t color-coordinate, though she tends toward green and gold things so there sometimes appears to be a theme. Most often though she’s just seen in an old cloak and some reliable if dirty travel clothes.
My Pathfinder nerd She’s a custom race Oracle Might fix her arms and color this later?
Her head looks a bit odd, still figuring out how to mantis. Maybe it needs to be flatter at the top?
