Emergency medicine....

Anamnesis; Young dog seeking emergency care for swollen lips and eyes. Symptoms came suddenly, probably a bee sting according to the owners. The dog was injected with a standart dose prednisolon-acetate s.c. and put in the waiting area for 1 hour observation. Just before those 60 minutes are up, the dog is suddenly laying on it’s side become more and more distant. Rushed to the emergency area with blue tongue and apnea.
