Statham is always a good idea Ser, pls. PLS
This is very true -- he's so loVELY.
So how's it going with Apathy?
”Um — It’s fine? I’m not sure what kind of answer you’re looking for.”
✖
✖ and I will give you a fear that my character has in dealing with yours
{ There are many fears when in regards to Apathy.
There’s the fear he’ll leave. Oh, yes — he’s terrible, she knows. He hurts her, he torments her and he’s left her broken, but he’s always there and he’s a constant in her life regardless of how bad he is for her. She doesn’t have much; many are no longer around that she’d consider close and the brunette fears being alone.
Of course She also has the fear of angering him again; she’s done it a few times and it never ends well in her favor — bruises and broken bones are the results of those incidences, and she tries so hard to be good — to behave, but Katherine has that damn attitude problem and she knows it’s only a matter of time.
The fear of him hurting Elijah. She’s not sure which one scares her the most; each one holds a weight in a different part of her heart and each one is just as terrifying as the next. }

Send ␛ for an ANGER headcanon.
Anger is one of the few emotions that Death has access to in a way that we as humans (or traits, depending on how tied to humanity they are) can comprehend. He tends to be quite even keeled, really, but there are a few things that will without fail anger him.
Those things are as follows:
Damage to the system
Hasty assumptions of his motivations
He sees everything in existence as his, because in the end all things will perish. And thus any damage done to anything alive is damage done to something that will one day be his. And he's quite careful about his things and therefore so should everyone else be. It should be stipulated that any damage here means irreparable damage - he doesn't care about temporary or physical damage, just damage to the essence of any thing.
And assumptions about his motivations are just RUDE. Especially when they're so often negative. If he means you ill, you will know. Simply assuming is attributing aspects to a being without. And that's irritating.
Send ϡ for a MENTAL STATE headcanon.
Death's mental state is a complicated thing simply because it really isn't. He doesn't process worry, not the way we'd recognize it, doesn't process any number of emotions most consider necessary for existence. He doesn't trust, but he also doesn't distrust, feels something he might call love but we would call possession, to name a few oddities. Thus, his mental state is clear, operates on a simple point a to point b scale.
So long as everything in the universe is more or less according to plan his mental state is peaceful. Things step out of place and he fixes them, and that is the sum total of his entire mental state. A plus B equals C, all is well as long as any problem has a solution.
Send ✄ for a PET PEEVE headcanon.
The fastest way to get Death irritated is to act like he and Evil are the same creature. Death may not be good, but he is certainly not Evil. What he is is impartial, and rightly so. Without a truly impartial mediator, the universe wouldn't be able to keep running for even a fraction of the time it needs to - emotion would cloud judgement, chastisement and punishment would be lessened as bonds formed, or harshened as dislike, rational or not grew.
He is perfectly content playing the villain if that is what is needed, but nothing irks more than people assuming he plays the villain because he is the villain.
[ She'd been in desperate need of retail therapy and she'd just been doing some window shopping when she felt a pair of eyes on her -- she'd be content to ignore it, except they didn't go away. ]
"-- is there something you need?"
