Zurven with his head forced into the future by Persep and the past by Harlan, external forces replicating Orfuse's reliance on his powers and inability to live fully in the present... but where Orfuse wrote everything down, immortalizing these visions in the written word, Zurven shakes them off focuses on what he can do in the present. He works with his hands and crafts things with no greater purpose, things that are allowed to just exist without meaning, without impacting the future.
