F-5 Aggressor at NAS North Island - Aug 2006
Been a while since I updated. F-5's are completed!
I received the paints I needed to finish the gray camo scheme and went hard at work on it tonight. All in all it took about three hours to lay on the paint scheme to the way it currently looks from the image posted earlier this month. Quite pleased with the outcome. While I had been waiting for paints I put on some of the main decals of the desert scheme Tiger. The afterburner also received a burnt iron paint job, yet to be applied to the other. As a quick side note, the desert scheme was sprayed freehand (feathering is noticeable) with little to no masking and the gray scheme was done with the aid of silly putty.
