Enemy animation for a character in a mobile game in 2017. I only animated the character, I did not design it. This was for a state university club Video Game Development Association (VGDA). The theme of the game was Voodoo.

After spending 4 semesters at CSULB Video Game Development Association, I wanted to thank them for letting me be an art member. This club greatly helped me get better at digital coloring and experience what it’s like to work with professional gaming production industries.
The contents show each of the main characters from our previous games. In the form of star constellations starting from the left is Xun from The Last Arrow (Spring 2015), The child from Parasomnia (Fall 2015) and Zimri from Echoes of Tikkun (Spring 2016). The ship in the middle is the player’s ship from Horizon’s Pull (Fall 2016) and as of Spring 2017, VGDA’s most recent published title, Voodoo Cheval shown as a nebula forming the voodoo priestess and her horse. All of our games are free and downloadable from itch.io. Check them out.
Some illustration roughs for The Compass (still in development)
A collection of more things I’ve done for VGDA’s Echoes of Tikkun (Releasing this week, April 28)! These are pieces for the background of the cave, depicting the extensive mythology that our design team did wonders with. I’ve got a soft spot for the god(dess) Passion
So I’ve been working as a writer/designer on this game for the past 10 weeks or so! Our entire group has been putting a ton of effort into this, and we’re releasing Tuesday! But we’ve still got a lot of things to polish, and a lot of bugs to iron out. My team of designers is QA testing and balancing all this weekend, but we could always use more help, which is where you all come in! If you want, click the link above to download the game (it’s small and safe, I promise!), and let me know what you think! Bugs you encounter, things you like or dislike, changes you would make, anything helps! We’re prolly gonna be updating a lot this weekend, so if you’re interested in the project, check back for newer builds! One last thing: The tutorial is not implemented yet, but controls are WASD or Arrow Keys to move, Space to catch, Cursor to aim and Left Click to shoot! Oh, and play with your sound on, we’ve got beautiful music! Thank you guys so much!
