Now coming to Staircase Spirit is a new project I’ve had in the works for a long time: the Video Game Gender Survey.  My goal has been to count the characters in video games and tally up the gender representation, which I am now ready to share in the form of an ongoing series of articles where I provide the data and also any of my thoughts on the topic.  All for the better-ment of science! ...and to win an internet fight I got into four years ago, cough.
