It’s Feel-good Friday! 🙌🏻 The bank holiday is almost upon us! The VHI Women’s Mini Marathon is on Sunday! AND YOU LOVELY PEOPLE HAVE RAISED OVER €600 FOR MENTAL HEALTH IRELAND!! 😱😍 I am blown away by the support and generosity everyone has shown me these last few weeks. I think it really shows just how people are realizing the importance of mental health and the importance of helping those who find themselves struggling with mental health issues.❤️ The support you’ve all shown isn’t just financial. By donating to this cause you’re showing people who are struggling that this cause is worth it, that mental health is worth it and that we all support them on a positive mental health journey! 👏🏻😊 My heart is swelling with love and pride that MY tribe are so supportive of the journey to positive mental health! 😍 Absolute legends the lot of ye! There are just over three weeks left until the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon 2019 and lots of posts around about getting fit and healthy in the run up to the big day. 🏃🏼‍♀️🏋🏼‍♀️🍏 But getting fit and staying physically healthy is only half the battle. It’s super important to take care of your body, it’s the only one you get and it’s gotta last a lifetime! But it’s also super important to take care of your mind. The two impact each other so much more than we even realize. When you’re happy mentally, taking healthy steps physically is so much easier! 💪🏻 When you’re being physically healthy, that makes you more happy mentally! ☺️ Mental Health Ireland have also found that people struggling with mental health issues are also less likely to seek help for physical health problems they suffer from. The message is clear, looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your physical health. The two are tangled up together in the being that is you.
