Jinx had gotten a lot more used to the woods since she’d first showed up in Spirale than she had been before- neither Zaun nor Piltover were very rife with plant life, after all. She’d taken to wandering around in here on occasion, when she wanted to escape from anything that could remind her of days long past, when she wanted to be as alone as she could be. That was never completely alone for her, but it was something familiar to her.
This, though- what awaited her as she crossed into this snow-blanketed clearing? This wasn’t familiar. The phenomenon was, but what she saw- who she saw- was different. The figure she was looking down at, the eyes that stared back up at her, were ones she hadn’t had to meet for some time.
She was surprised at how much she was unable to react. There had been a similar situation like this with doubles in the city, and she’d been a lot more willing to react violently to it then, even if she didn’t in the end. Now, she could only stare blankly, into innocent eyes that slowly grew more concerned.
“Are...you okay?” The girl asked her. Silence. “Could you say something? You’re starting to creep me out a bit...” Jinx saw the gears starting to turn in her head, the furrowed brow raising in disbelief. “Wait...are you-”
A soft crunch in the snow cut the girl’s words off. It had come from behind Jinx. She didn’t turn around to look- she could reason who it was well enough. Who else would find her in this sort of situation? The girl wasn’t quite so intuitive, so she tilted her body to look past the young woman before her. From the gasp she drew, who she saw must have been quite a surprise...as it must have been for the other to see those big blue eyes again, the slightly-open mouth and the little tooth gap it displayed, the hair of a bolder shade to match her eyes, with choppy bangs and a single braid hanging behind.
“...Vi? Is that...you?”
