Ocon: "Kevin is a fantastic character."

Kevin: "I know Ocon quite well, because he was a junior at Renault when I was driving there. He was around as a reserve driver. And we hung out a lot. Went out to eat and you know.

Sometimes, like on test days and stuff, then we've driven around in a rental car, and driven to some of the corners and sat there, and just watched. And sat and talked, and got to know each other.

I think, Ocon's story... I mean, he really came from nothing, and they as a family have bet everything on Esteban, would make it and get into Formula 1. And he has done that with good success. He's a driver I think really deserves it a lot.

And there is great respect for a lot of the drivers for what they can do on the track And what they have achieved."

Ocon: "I really wish him the best for the future. And that's for sure someone, I will keep in contact within the future."

I didn’t know this documentary existed until I randomly (and luckily) stumbled upon it, even though I’m still desperately trying to understand where and how to watch it as I can’t access to Viaplay (not even with VPN).

I got emotional just from the trailer. I know Rutger thanks to his role as Morgan Edge in Smallville, he fascinated me so I went looking, out of curiosity, about who he was etc… and then I “fell into a spiral”: I’ve watched more than a dozen of his movies, various interviews and his other documentary (on YT) “Blond, blue eyes” and read his autobiography.

I became attached to Rutger in a way that still makes me feel weird sometimes, because I feel it as a genuine deep affection and some sort of connection that I never felt before for someone who I never even met…

He was a wonderful, talented, handsome man with a deep and beautiful soul❤️
