Character Development Questions: Hard Mode- 10: Does your character feel more comfortable with more clothing, or with less clothing?
More clothing without a doubt. Loki does not feel comfortable revealing skin, for bare skin is a vulnerability (one that can be used). After having endured an experience during which he did not have a choice over what was done to his body, he is extremely sensitive and adverse to touch, especially on his skin.
If it is Loki’s choice, except in the presence of Sigyn, he will not be found with anything less than two layers of clothing. He will customarily wear boots, pants, a tunic, and an overcoat with collar. His armor is multi-layered, high-collared, and covering. He will often choose to complete his choice with gloves, though this preference has somewhat waned since The Fall.
For Loki to wear less around someone is, in itself, a gesture of trust, and allowing others to touch him (especially on bare skin) is an even greater one.
