First of all, okay hottest woman in the crows

second of all, sure, typical interpretation is “Don’t flirt with Rook, you’re going to steal my girl/guy/person 🙁”

third of all, here’s a better interpretation, “Don’t flirt with Rook, flirt with me.”

Who was Lucanis anyway? Not even a person really, he was just a tool to be used and discarded. Others might carve a life for themselves in this world; his was to be nothing but higher duty. Beyond his responsibilities, there were also other issues at play. Lucanis was the grandson of the First Talon if he was to take a bastard of the king as his paramour— it would cause no end of uproar. Additionally, Viago was terrified of being poisoned. If they were lovers this fear, if not valid threat, would multiply a thousand-fold. There would be no peace. This was all a punishment then, a lesson, divine retribution for stepping out of line, for asking for too much. He wasn't supposed to feel this way, to feel anything at all. Weapons don't love, they only lust for blood.
