"Honestly, 'alf the time I really ain't thinkin' much - sorry, swee'heart. T'ain't all tha' interestin' up 'ere. 'm jus like any other guy - thinkin' 'bout sex all th' time, ha!" He laughed heartily, fangs catching the light. He wasn't lying, at least not entirely. "Sometimes, I might e'en think 'bout food."
His efforts to keep things calm and casual for the time being seemed to have paid off insofar, and he was grateful for it, happy to let Henry mumble on as he please once he'd finished having his bit of fun, chuckling at his own stupid jokes. Stormy gray watched a flock of doves startle and fly well and far away from the pond before them, vanishing into a bank of fog. He was unbothered by the relative uneasy silence beyond them.
"Yeah, yeah, whate'er ye say. Mhmm," a half-assed effort at placation - he wasn't paying much attention, eyes narrowing at the changes to their surroundings, unnerved by the chill in the air and smoke in his lungs. Fingers tapped on the arm of the iron park bench, the pad of his index burning sharply at the contact. His free arm coiled lazily around Henry's shoulders, palm perfectly aligned with the ball of his shoulder. Feigning alarm, concern...fear, eyes wide and heartrate artificially inflated. A bastard in the skin of a man, really. His nail caught on the bench arm, sizzling awfully in the quiet, a distant blare howling in the distance.
