some of my fav scenes from el internado, in no particular order
- when the lieutenant has a gun to marcos’ head and hector steps out of the bushes with sandra and yells “get your gun out of my nephew’s face” or something like that
- when paula sees her mom for the first time and runs to her
- when eva wulf is trying to kill julia and ivan breaks the ice to save her then takes her down to the passageways; he tries to keep her warm (like when they’re in the cage and tells her to envision the two of them at the beach); he breaks the glass thingy eva wulf is in even though he has a gun to his head just to save julia
- the scene after that when julia marcos and ivan come out of the passageways and vicky is practically hyperventilating bc she thought they were dead :(
- marcos: carol is the best thing that ever happened to me ivan: except meeting me, right :)
- paula and evelyn
- when vicky hits amaia over the head with a shovel
- anytime vicky calls out amaia for being clingy
- when they go to the church and that nazi flag unrolls and they realize that what they’re dealing with is very fkn dangerous / when ivan follows (read: runs after a car) julia’s stepfather after he finds out he’s part of ottox
- when rebeca and fermin start working together
- when rebeca and fermin sneak into the army camp to get the doctor and the uranium. very badass
- rebeca and martin 🥺
- when carol was jealous of how close marcos and ivan were
- when ivan almost dies bc of the sickness and tells julia “thanks for being my girl” ; but then they get the machine to work and he comes back and everyones hugging and crying
- anytime marcos walk in on julia and ivan together and ivan is annoyed that marcos ruined their mojo just bc ppl are trying to kill them
- how excited they are to burn the school down lmao
- when ivan kills that dude and marcos hugs him and helps him hide it
- when mateo has them write who stole the quiz and someone wrote “your fucking mother”
- when julia sneaks out and ivan is worried out of his mind for her and she goes “i was out shopping”
- when marcos tells carol that after they get out of the school he’s going to love her forever
- when ivan tries to kill his father during the feast even though he’s practically dying bc he didn’t take the medicine and there’s classical music in the background
- when amelia starts helping them against the nazis, especially when she’s the one who tells them that carol is dead
- any scene where they’re happy and together and safe
- any julivan scene
