I don't usually do fanart, and I despise SNL, but I recently watched The Blues Brothers. It's been on my mind since I watched it, I didn't expect to like it but was pleasantly surprised. Music, sibling duo, car chase, yeah sounds like something I'd enjoy.

Anyways, here's some character art of the more major characters, mainly the band and the Sutherlands. Also working on more sketch ups of some of the not quite minor, but definitely less major characters (i.e. the club owner, their manager and such). Hope to post those soon and get more info out as well. But we'll see how quickly that happens 🤞

Synopsis of my work in progress comic, Average Joe:

"We didn't quite crack America as I had planned..." After a recent arrival in the states, British punk band Average Joe experiences a rocky restart. For their lead vocalist, Derek Sutherland, this means a fresh start as an attempt to patch up his marriage and survive in the wilderness of the New York scene. However, when things start to go downhill he soon sees a bigger issue rising from the woodwork, hindering his activity in the band. He must choose to either turn a blind eye to his health for his involvement in Average Joe, or face the music.
