Though she had never had what most would consider a “normal” job, Margaret found some much-needed invigoration in her new designer position at GANG☆STAR. Getting instructions from her boss regarding a winter line as opposed to an anonymous phone call with a name, date, and location of a target delighted the former assassin. She’d never disliked her previous position, of course, but that was one she’d not be able to return to for some time, and it’d be important to find happiness in other things in the meanwhile.
Her latest assignment well under way, she thought to report in to her emploiyer regarding the matter...only to see his door left partially open. Perhaps he’d just been distracted earlier or...
Any macabre thoughts were pushed to the wayside. It’d be pretty shitty if she’d wind up without anyone running the show so soon after she’d come aboard. Delicate steps carried her to the doorway, and a gentle hand rapped on the fine wood of his open door.
“Victor? Are you in?”
