Starting October right by drawing a bunch of cursed Victorian lamps

Sharing a favorite from my extensive collection of handmade Victorian lampshade and reclaimed antique lamp combinations. This one is called "Checkmate " and was inspired by the movie The Queens Gambit--a film about a lady chess champion.

Restoring antique lamps is a passion for me because it keeps historic lighting pieces out of landfills. Every lampshade is handmade by me, and I stringcevery single bead by hand....one by one.
