We recently sold a wonderful old Victorian ruby and diamond halo ring to an eager lady somewhere between the coasts. She gave wonderful feedback and was enchanted. We returned the kind praise. The next day she returned the ring with the reason “it’s an amazing ring, but I don’t need it anymore. Thank you for giving me my money back.” It seems she only needed it for a special occasion and never had any intention of keeping it. Deceptive, yes, but we made a nice “rent” on it via our restocking fee for such cases AND we still have one knockout ring waiting to meet up with it’s future adorer. :) https://www.etsy.com/listing/196131822/antique-victorian-14k-yellow-gold
