all you had to do is say you got it from the russian clip art website. instead you insulted me for no reason and whoever left the comment. who's the real kindergartener?

excuse me? i didn't have to say fucking anything. i shouldn't have gotten the ask in the first place. it was insulting in and of itself. the way i posted the photo, they were accusing me of taking a photo from your blog, and posting it to my own in an attempt to pass it off as something i found. whether such an act is defensible from a practical standpoint or not, it would be underhanded and shitty. since i'm not underhanded and shitty in that way, the assertion that i am or might be as such is an insult.

i'm really not sure where the 'no reason' part comes in. i called out the obnoxiousness of sending the exact same message twice in a row, and then i called out the pointlessness of a policy attempting to protect photos that were only found. 

the fact that in your other ask (i don't want to post them individually so i'll address all the information here) you said you got it from the same site, and that it's a huge site and you can't imagine it hasn't been found before, that doesn't change the above things. getting two near-identical asks in a row is obnoxious. your policy about sourcing and the reasons for it, is pointless.

the reply to a comment on that ask, that you are referencing there, stands as well. acting like there is some kind of claim on photos you find and post is senseless. while i used your policy as a part of my metaphor, i was speaking about the phenomenon in general. plenty of people are bizarrely territorial about found photos.

i have no natural conclusion to this, i'm just done.
