First things first, I'd like to apologise for the graphic. I am currently without Photoshop so I had to make this on some shoddy photo editing site. That's not that important, though.

Now, you might be wondering, 'Oh? What's the occasion?' and, well, today is an anniversary! On this day, one year ago, I made my first jump into the world of Final Fantasy RP -- that is, today, lovelessmonstrosity turns one year old. Maybe it would have made more sense to do this over there but, honestly, I feel like I've connected with more people on this blog and it's also the most active I've ever been on any of my FF blogs.

So, without any further ado, let me namedrop some lovelies organised as Galbadian military ranks bc of reasons!

ELITE SOLDIERS - My besties tbh

fatasalutem -- You get to come first because you were the first proper friend I had in this community and, by proxy, my longest lasting friend here. You were also my first ship partner here and the first person to properly plot a whole AU with me. e XCITING THINGS!!!! But, like, no joke, you've been such a brilliant friend and I just - let me love on you tbh. I'm pretty sure you're intent on murdering me with angst plots as your weapon but, hey, I can't complain because, let's be real, I keep joining in. You're a really brilliant friend, okay? uGH RAI. WHY DO YOU THINGS.

magistrixium -- I know that blog's on hiatus but yOU STILL FOLLOW ME ON OTHER BLOGS SO DEAL WITH IT. UGH. Yes. We are basically married and I think that says enough. You also want to murder me, I think, and mostly with depressing headcanons. I owe you a lot, especially in regards to helping me flesh out my portrayal of Mateus. aLSO THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME RANT LIKE THE PISSY GIT I AM TBH. You're special. You get to hear me being angry at stupid things. Let's keep hating everyone together.

vidensaeternam -- yO I'VE ONLY KNOWN YOU A LITTLE WHILE BUT YOU GET TO HAVE BESTIE STATUS. YOU SHOULD FEEL REALLY COOL. First off, let me just give you my eternal gratitude for making Cohors Bellum because that filled up some stupidly huge hole that I needed filling. And thank you for the wonderful ship that just makes me sad about things. You're just wonderful yourself too so go you! I'm going to keep pestering you so deal with it.

arcanumrosa -- holy shit get out of my inbox before i kick you out of every country ever. Real talk, though, you're great. I mean, if we can just bypass the fact that the first thing I ever told you was that you were a peasant (my point still stands). You get special brownie points for having to deal with me rambling, especially about Jaejoong. And nipples, apparently. And The Bitch (a guy from a drama, for those that this may confuse; I don't just call people 'the bitch' behind their backs bc i'm not a pissbaby). yOU'RE KIND OF A LOONY TBH BUT THAT'S OK. 

G-SOLDIERS -- Other brilliant people I should probably talk to more?? this section is small bc i'm scared of everyone ever tbh

The last week had been difficult and more so, perhaps, than Kael ever could have accounted for. He'd been forced back into that dark hole in which he found no company nor any kindred in whose kindness he could take any refuge. The four years he'd spent with Yeul by his side had affected him more than he could have imagined, even despite the claims he had once made that he'd never get that close to anyone again after Natsu's passing. 

He'd missed having her there, every part of her personality having slotted itself into some kind of routine. All-nighters had been pulled without anyone to tell him to stop working for once in his life and, somehow, he missed the reassurance. He was quite sure that his lieutenants had had enough of his foul mood as well, given that he'd rather taken to throwing things at their heads when they weren't paying enough attention to what he was saying. 

The situation with the drugs certainly hadn't gotten any better, not that it phased Kael all too much. He was more stressed than he had ever been before and, suddenly, he was finding Yeul's claims that she hadn't done enough for him to be entirely ridiculous. He was going to have to get a grip of himself -- it had only been a week.

His line of thought was cut short by the sound of someone knocking on the office door. It was peculiar, Kael thought, for he'd organised no meetings or appointments of any sort for most of the day. He leaned forward and put his cigarette out on the ashtray before pulling himself up from the couch, having been midway through a break -- staring at paperwork and laptop screens all day was giving him a headache. He opened the door just a crack, so that he may be heard but not seen, and learn his shoulder against the back of it. "You know the rules, I don't just let people in here", he said with a flat impatience, "Who are you and what business do you have with me?"
