A laid-back, hard-of-hearing IT guy who would rather socialize than do his damn job.

Jitendra moved overseas for work almost immediately after finishing University, leaving behind friends and family alike. While he doesn’t regret it, per se, life abroad was nowhere near as glamorous as he’d imagined.

The work was hard. The conditions... not great. And when his hearing began to decline, he found it harder and harder to find any place that would hire him at all.

Now it’s twenty years later, and he’s back in Australia. His old friends have grown and changed, and he’s unsure how many still want to associate with him after all this time.

But hey! Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Besides, his bestie, Clarissa, still seems interested in hanging out.

...He just wishes he knew why she’s acting so strangely all of a sudden...

Marshal Johnson (Video Nine / Cabin Fever) Toyhou.se | Art Fight | Murder Mystery Biannual

An insufferable know-it-all who values his privacy more than interpersonal relationships. Marshal does not care much for the company of others and makes absolutely no attempts to hide that fact. While he won't outright tell a person when he wants to be alone, he will ignore half their questions and give clipped responses to the rest. Marshal is extremely presumptuous and untrusting of people he doesn't know, and only relaxes a little around close acquaintances or friends. He enjoys the company of people he's familiar with, and only if they don't talk too much. Marshal is quite stoic. Very few things stir any sort of strong reaction out of him at all, but that's probably for the best. When he does start talking about something, it takes him a very, very long time to stop his condescending, pointless rambles. Furthermore, while Marshal often thrusts his opinion on others, he's not too interested in hearing what others have to say and will not be persuaded into anything easily. 

Marshal was the “host” character of Cabin Fever - which is a very polite way of saying he’s the first of the cast to get murdered. He’s alive in the Video Nine timeline.

Clarissa Dunst (Video Nine) Toyhou.se | Art Fight

Clarissa owns (and lives in the apartment above) the very haunted Video  Nine movie rental store. Although she's grown to hate the gig, she  doesn't have the credentials to easily get a better job and doesn't have  the money to try and invest in a more stable business. She's also too  stubborn to ask for help, or even admit that there's a problem at all.

Her outward, bitter demeanor is mostly caused by workplace stress and a  severe lack of sleep. If you can get her to relax, somehow, you'll find  she's quite sociable.

Hobbies include watching bad slasher movies, cussing out ghosts, and forgetting to return her friends' calls.

Joseph is her life-long best friend-- even if they have somewhat fallen out of contact lately. Marshal was her roommate during her University days, but she's been keeping him at arm's length ever since he got so obsessed with cryptid shit. Ingrid is a former employee of hers, but Clarissa fired her to keep her safe from the paranormal happenings. Bee keeps spreading absurd rumors about her and it's driving her mad.
