I am excited about the possibilities with projection and loops; I plan to project these video loops while playing a grating sound loop of the opposing arguments surrounding climate change. I feel in doing so, the installations will capture my theme ‘sound and connection’ nicely.

I made a series of loops (gifs) today from footage I collected weeks ago; the footage was from videos I filmed of various people reciting quotes from Donald Trump and Neil deGrasse Tyson about climate change.

At first, I struggled to transfer videos from my Android phone to a Mac PC in the college, however I figured out the problem. I am unfamiliar with Apple products but I soon realised I needed an Android to Mac file convertor. I downloaded one, and was able to upload the footage from my phone and manipulate it.

I made these series of loops in creamy and brown tones. I made some of the gifs darker in tone, while, I used creamy tones for other gifs to act as a contrast - to represent opposing ideas surrounding climate change.

I done the video projection mapping workshop yesterday and I learnt a great deal. I plan to access a projector soon, and project these loops onto objects and wall space.
